Reps will promote the new insulin aspart (Fiasp, FEE-asp) as an "ultrafast-acting" mealtime insulin for adults.

Think of Fiasp as similar to NovoLog. They're both insulin aspart from the same company...except Fiasp has an additive to speed absorption.

You may hear that Fiasp starts working about 5 minutes faster than NovoLog. But this isn't clinically significant most of the time.
