Try Not To Schedule Stimulants and Diuretics Close to Bedtime
Some hospitals are considering melatonin for insomnia.
We know to avoid benzos and antihistamines for sleep since their use is linked to falls, delirium, etc. And there's increasing evidence that non-benzos (zolpidem, etc) may lead to similar problems.
Melatonin may reduce the time to fall asleep by about 10 minutes...similar to most Rx sleep meds.
